Welcoming two guests, perfect for a couple or even two friends sharing, Burnside Cottage boasts off-road parking, close proximity to the local amenities and a woodburning stove, the perfect place to begin your Cumbrian retreat.
Upon entering your new dwelling, kick back and relax on the sumptuous sofas in the sitting room in front of a roaring woodburning stove, the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring your surroundings.
Allow your other half to rustle up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen, becoming acquainted with a superb range of appliances, before settling down at the dining table ready to tuck in over a bottle of wine or two! Take advantage of an enclosed raised-level patio with furniture to savour an alfresco feast as the sun sets in the distance before retreating to the first floor where you can wash away the day in a sleek shower room; catch your rest in a charming king-size bedroom ahead of kickstarting your fun-filled itinerary.
From your doorstep, make use of a handy convenience store merely paces away, ideal for stocking up on the self-catering essentials, or indulge in some hearty fare and a cold beverage at The Engine Inn, perfect for treating your other half! Burnside Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, and dining seating for two guests, as well as a sitting room with a Smart TV and woodburning stove. There is one king-size bedroom, along with a shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear raised-level patio with furniture, as well as off-road parking for one car. Within 0.1 miles you will find a shop and a pub and please note that one well-behaved pet is welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Burnside Cottage is a fabulous base for a couples retreat in Cumbria. Note: Due to the age of the property, the stairs are uneven- please take care. Note: There are EV charging points available at the property. 150 GBP Good Housekeeping Bond
