The house is situated in the mountains in Sonnino, with an olive grove in the front and a wood and stream at the other side of the house.
It really is a magical place.
There are lots to see and do in the area, from amazing beaches (Sabaudia being my favourite) to cold natural sulphur pond, where you can enjoy swimming in really cold water, which is fantastic in July and August.
Rome is just one hour away by train and Naples a bit further, so great to have a day out in either city.
There is also an abbey (Abbazia di Fossanova) about ten minute drive from the house, there you can find a bar and a couple of good restaurants, and of course the Abbey is really beautiful.
The great thing about staying in Fairy house is it's like having two holidays in one, you can spend the whole day on the beach and then come back to the quiet of the mountains and enjoy your dinner on the rooftop terrace with amazing views.
