10 km from Cochem in a quiet village, is this fine basement apartment, where it stays nice and cool in summer. Ideal for a couple, this accommodation features a comfortable bedroom, a well-equipped kitchen, a relaxing sitting area with a TV, and your bathroom, providing everything you need. The major plus is the spacious, enclosed garden with two terraces, offering sun or shade. You park safely on private property and can charge your car. Although the area is touristy, you will enjoy peace here
In the Cochem region, you imagine yourself in a postcard. As you drive through the winding roads along the Moselle, you will see vineyards climbing up the steep slopes and charming villages with half-timbered houses popping up among the greenery. Cochem itself is an atmospheric town where you can stroll along the waterfront, enjoy local wine on a terrace, and, of course, visit Cochem's famous castle. This fairytale-like medieval castle towers high above the town, offering impressive views over the Moselle Valley. Not far away is another gem: Burg Eltz. Tucked away in a wooded valley, this perfectly preserved castle seems straight out of a fantasy film. You reach it via an idyllic hiking trail or a short drive, and once inside, you walk through centuries-old halls full of history. The region is also popular with walkers and cyclists, with numerous routes along the river, through forests and over vineyards. Whether you are looking for tranquillity, culture, nature or gastronomy, you will find it all here
