You can drive directly to the house for loading and unloading. There is no private parking space available. The free car park on Hochuferstraße is approx. 5 - 8 minutes' walk away. If you park in one of the nearest paid parking spaces, 2-4 minutes' walk away, we will pay 50% of the parking fees on presentation of proof (day ticket EUR4,00 or EUR5,00).

Beautiful, spacious vacation apartment for max. 4 adults (+ 1 child) in a quiet downtown location of the old town of Meißen. You live on the 1st floor of a lovingly renovated house on Theaterplatz, right next to the Meissen Theater. A short walk will take you to the market, Meissen Cathedral, Albrechtsburg Castle and the Elbe River with a landing stage of the Saxon steamship.
All stores for daily needs as well as various restaurants are within walking distance. On the first floor of the house is the restaurant Schnitzelhaus zum Domblick. The stairway to the Albrechtsburg and the cathedral as well as many wine taverns are just around the corner. The world-famous porcelain factory is a 10-minute walk through the old town.

Description of the accommodation
The 90 m2 cozy and quiet apartment has a large living room with a view of the Theaterplatz, a dining room with kitchenette, a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, 2 opposite bedrooms, each with a double bed. Nothing can be heard from the restaurant on the ground floor.
The living room is furnished with a sofa set, a corner sofa and a Smart TV (Magenta TV)
The dining room with kitchenette is furnished with a large table and 6 chairs. In the kitchenette there is a built-in stove, a dishwasher and a fridge with a small freezer compartment. There is also a toaster, a microwave, a kettle, 2 coffee machines (powder coffee machine, Senseo pod machine) and sufficient cooking utensils, crockery and glasses. There is a 2nd large fridge and freezer in the passageway.
2 bedrooms opposite each other, each with a double bed. On request there is the possibility of an extra bed for a child (folding mattress/baby crib).

Directions by car:

Motorway BAB 4 exit Willsdruff, drive in the direction of Wilsdruff/Meißen/Tharandt, continue on the S177 to Meißen, then turn right onto Neumarkt and stay on this road
Turn left onto Meisastraße and after 120 metres turn left onto Leipziger Straße
Follow Leipziger Straße as far as the cinema, turn right there and turn left after the theatre building. The theatre is on the right-hand side (Theaterplatz 6)
Take the BAB 14 exit Nossen in the direction of Nossen-Ost/Meißen
Turn right onto Eulaer Hauptstraße/B101, then turn right onto Jahnastraße and continue onto Meisastraße.
After about 350 metres, turn right onto Leipziger Straße and then continue as described above

Travelling by train:

Travelling via Dresden (Dresden -Neustadt station), take the S-Bahn S1 to Meißen-Altstadt S-Bahn station. From there it is about an 8-minute walk to the flat (approx. 500 metres)

It is only possible to load and unload directly at the house. The free car park on Hochuferstraße is approx. 5 - 8 minutes' walk away. If you park in a paid car park 2-4 minutes' walk away, we will pay 50% of the parking fee for the day ticket (EUR4 or EUR5) on presentation of proof.
