It is a delicious rural romantic 2 bedrooms (1 double/1 two single) apt.
The apartment: ground floor: Kitchen and living room connected to, form a comfortable, spacious and bright space, overlooking the garden through door-windows.
Brand new, fully equipped kitchen: electric hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.
Service bathroom with shower sink and bidet.
First floor: you will find a large, nice-decorated bedroom, with bathroom in the room with shower sink and bidet and from the window you can admire a beautiful view of the valley.
The second bedroom with cypress wood parquet floor overlooking a cypress wood.
It is fresh in the summer because of the big ancient stone walls and warm in the winter for the pellet/wood heating floor.

The apt is part of a tipical Tuscan farm.
We projected in 2008 the restauration of our16th century charming old farmhouse in a sustainably way and respect for nature, attentive to minimum energy impact: solar panels, wood/pellet heating, roof-water used for vegetable garden, bio-architecture restoration with natural and bio materials.
Our family lives in the main part of the building at Podere Montisi farm since 2010, everybody of the family helped at the restauration and we made with lot of love almost the fine and hard work by our own choosing all the natural materials: natural stone and Tuscan terracotta floors, natural lime, wax and natural colors for the walls and fragrant cypress wood.

Podere Montisi is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday in the Tuscan landscape, only 15 min train ride from Calenzano the center of Florence SMN and the Duomo and one hour from Siena and the Chianti region or to the seaside, 10 min from Prato.
Enjoy the Tuscan ancient wheat fields, our olive grove and the amazing Tuscan landscape... and our jams, grapes of the pergola, fresh homemade bread with natural yeast for breakfast!
The farm is located in the wonderful countryside with rolling hills of olive groves, lavender hedges, vineyards and ancient wheat and our biodynamic farming.
The house is located in an organic eco-friendly, ogm-free 14 ha farm (Podere Montisi, Calenzano, Florence, Tuscany) that produces extra virgin olive oil, officinal Tuscan cooking herbs and Tuscan ancient heritage wheats - and 10.000 years old Einkorn - in harmony with nature and biodiversity.
The farm is located in the Archeological and Agricoltural Park of Travalle, part of the European areas of natural interest for its flora and fauna.

Von Podere Montisi aus lassen sich mit der Bahn oder Auto alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Nord-Toskana gut erreichen. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.
