The house, the property, and the location were all spectacular, BUT I wouldn’t even consider renting this property without having a car. Taxis were extremely difficult to get and we were left walking significant distances from restaurants and the town of Scandicci. This may not have been as challenging in cooler weather, but it was 100F during our visit.

My family (4 kids) stayed here for 5 nights while we explored Tuscany. It was an awesome base and was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space and loads of historic charm and character. The views were beautiful. The host was responsive and left us some homemade olive oil when we had trouble...
