Distante 2 Km dal vero e proprio centro abitato e 4 Km dal mare, un oasi di pace dove trascorrere momenti di relax dotati di ogni comfort. L'abitazione si trova appunto in Badolato, un suggestivo borgo medievale affacciato sul Mar Jonio. Il borgo ospita 14 chiese di forte interesse architettonico e storico-culturale. Proprio adiacente all'abitazione il Santuario Madonna della Sanità (X sec.), a poche centinaia di metri l'affascinante Convento degli Angeli che oggi ospita la comunità MondoX . L'area si presta per meravigliose escursioni in bicicletta, percorsi trekking, visita del borgo e dei borghi circostanti, cascate e percorsi naturalistici nella vicinissima area montuosa e l'incontaminata costa del Mar Jonio. Di forte interesse le nostre tradizioni enogastronomiche alle quali siete invitati a partecipare come vendemmia (primi di Settembre), raccolta olive e produzione olio extravergine (fine Settembre-Ottobre), lavorazione salumi (Dicembre-Gennaio) nonchè le suggestive tradizioni religiose, prima tra tutte la Settimana della Santa Pasqua. A beautiful house surrounded by olive grove with wonderful views of the sea and surrounding hills. On two levels has a living area with sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor; 2 double bedrooms with large terrace and bathroom upstairs. 2km away from downtown and 4 Km from the sea, an oasis of peace where you can relax with every comfort. The house is located precisely in Badolato, a picturesque medieval village overlooking the Ionian Sea. The village is home to 14 churches of great architectural and historical interest. Just adjacent to the house the Madonna Sanctuary of Health (X sec.) , few hundred meters away the fascinating Convent of the Angels. The area is ideal for wonderful cycling, hiking paths, visit to the village and the surrounding villages, waterfalls and nature trails in the nearby mountain area and the pristine coast of the Ionian Sea. The strong interest of our gastronomic traditions to which you are invited to participate as vintage (early September), collecting olives and producing extra virgin olive oil (late September to October), making salami (December-January) as well as the evocative religious traditions, first of all the Easter Holy Week.
