Once in Montalcino, turn around a roundabout depicting the God of Bacco and head for Castelnuovo dell'Abate.
We arrived at Borghetto, a small medieval hamlet that still has its features intact: tiny cobbled streets like once, the bishop's palace, the Romanesque church, the small square, the center of life of the local community.
A thousand meters from the village, in the valley of the river Starcia lies the imposing Abbey of Sant'Antimo, one of the masterpieces of Romanesque excellence in Tuscany.
We are in the central area to visit the Natural Park of Valdorcia with its spas, breathtaking landscapes and good Tuscan cuisine!
To satisfy your requests, the Borghetto guesthouse offers you the "ALICE HOUSE" just restored with eco-friendly materials and heated with clean energy.
The house is on two floors, very panoramic on the second floor, it is composed of equipped kitchen, living-relaxation, two double bedrooms with each inside its private bathroom. Bath towels and bedding provided and included in the price.
The house is covered with free Wifi. Air conditioning on request.

The property is absolutely stunning!!! Pictures truly do not do it justice, the views are incredible. Such a cute place to stay for my husband and I while we explored the Montalcino area / wineries. Cannot recommend enough, already dreaming of coming back!

Hosts wee responsive to our questions. Views from bedroom were fantastic. Pellet heater kept the place warm. Host provided good instructions on how to use pellet heater. Loved our visit to local pizzeria for dinner. Parking a mid-size rental car was a challenge.

House of Alice was nothing short of magical! The village was surreal. The host was communicative, the home was clean and welcoming. My only feedback would be to re-arrange the main floor to have more soft seating - but I would certainly stay again and recommend!
