Villa Arcangela A is a characteristic and welcoming independent house located on a hillside, facing the sea. It sleeps five people.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Arcangela A. If you do have one, you will be able to park it for a fee, in a public parking lot downtown Amalfi (being the lot a public one, parking spaces can not be reserved).Villa Arcangela A is one of the holiday homes available in a small complex. Please find a general description of the complex below, and please scroll further down for a description of Villa Arcangela A.
Villa Arcangela A and B are two apartments that are part of a medieval building, that used to be an ancient Saracen watch tower. It is placed high up on a picturesque tract of rocky coast, at a height of approximately 100 meters (330 feet) above the sea level, and almost sheer above the sea itself. Every view of the seascape in this area is truly breathtaking.
The building is part of a bunch of ancient houses that cling to the top of a rocky spur, all facing the sea and the sun, and surrounded by lemon growths. Here the authentic locals of Amalfi live their life, with its quiet rhythm, and there is no crowd of tourists.
You will reach it walking uphill for approximately 20 meters (20 yards) along a short pedestrian alley. Once beyond the main door, you will find yourself in a small yard, closed on three sides by white walls, and open on the fourth side on a spectacular view of the coast and of the sea.

Incredible view from the patio. The unit is conveniently located with regards of public transportation as you can take either the Pogerola or Agerola line to get there. A bus stop right in front. Antonio welcomed us in and made sure everything was perfect. We had a blast and will definitely consider this unit again when we come back to Amalfi. Grazie. Merci !

Antonio was great, we came in late and he waited for us to open the apartment. He also helped with the luggage. A lot of steps to get to the apartment, but that’s Amalfi..

Just as listed. Carlo is an outstanding host. Difficult connecting with property manager for check in, but super kind and helpful during our stay. Be prepared to use the bus when staying here! The bus stop is 250 feet from the door. You will help yourself by getting the SITA SUD bus schedule online before you arrive. You will live like a local which is what we hoped for.
