The house has a spacious living room with double sliding doors to the terrace, has a view of the water and the virtually undeveloped countryside.

The larger and cozy cities of Sneek and Leeuwarden can be reached within 20 to 30 minutes by car. From Koudum you can make beautiful cycling, walking and boat trips between the vast farmlands or to the beautiful ones at 5 km. wooded areas that the southwest corner of Gaasterland is rich in. In Koudum itself and also in the immediate vicinity there are opportunities to rent boats and bicycles or to go horseback riding, golf or play a game of pitch and putt.
