The Costa Dorada is the most famous coastlines in Catalonia with 37 blue flag beaches, known for their quality and excellent state of conservation. There are many fantastic beaches and small dreamy coves with turquoise and crystalline waters, most of them very quiet and some of them untouched. A perfect place to walk on the GR-92 route, go for a bike ride, boat or kayak trip, or go scuba diving and discover the secrets that lie at the bottom of the Gulf of Sant Jordi.
On the Costa Dorada, is were you will find the Calafat urbanization sea front, racing circuit and marina of the same name. Calafat has more than 2 km of coastline, It's located in the municipality of L'Ametlla de Mar , a small fishing village reknown for the high quality of its fish. 20 minutes to the south you will find the Delta del Ebro Natural Park, a beautiful place you need to visit!
