Welcome to the Frisian village of Tzummarum! This holiday home is a detached chalet located on the quiet holiday park De Friese Wadden. The house is suitable for two persons, modernly furnished and has air conditioning and a spacious garden. The village of Tzummarum is a stone's throw away from the Wadden Sea, ideal for water lovers! For a lovely terrace or day of shopping, visit the beautiful towns of Franeker, Harlingen and Leeuwarden, all located within a 20-kilometre radius. Walking and cycling enthusiasts will love the region: discover the special atmosphere of the picturesque Frisian villages.

Layout
This chalet is nicely decorated and features a cosy interior. In the living room, you will find a spacious sofa, armchair and television. The round dining table seats two. The kitchen is equipped with many conveniences, including a combination microwave oven, fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. The bedroom has a double bed and ample storage space. The spacious bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. The chalet has air conditioning for cooling and heating. Outside you have a spacious garden and private parking.

The swimming pool is open from May to October.

Park facilities
General

You can go to the reception of Recreatiepark De Friese Wadden for information about the sights in the vicinity of the park or for renting a bicycle. In the early and late season the reception is not constantly manned and in the winter months the reception is hardly open. Of course there is always someone present at the park. If your holiday home does not have a washing machine, you can go to the launderette.

 

Swimming

For the adults there is a swimming pool where you can take a wonderful refreshing dip. There is also a toddler and paddling pool. Of course you can also enjoy the sunbathing area after a wonderful swim. The pool is open from May to September.

 

Food

Don't feel like cooking for an evening? No problem! Recreation park De Friesen Wadden has a cafeteria called "De Babbelaar" where you can order delicious snacks.

 

Sport and game

For the children there is a playground with several play equipment where they can enjoy themselves all day. This playground is located by the pool and is therefore only accessible when the pool is open. It is best to hit the tennis court to hit a ball. It is also nice to go to the WRTWW opposite the park for a day to take horse riding lessons or take a wonderful ride with a group. In the vicinity it is also possible to rent a boat.
Surroundings
Here you combine nature, culture and cosiness in abundance. And from Tzummarum is a wonderful day out in no time. Visit the beautiful Wadden Islands Vlieland or Terschelling, where, in addition to a breathtaking bike ride, you can also enjoy a snack and/or drink on one of the many terraces or at a beach pavilion. Do you prefer to stay on the mainland and feel like shopping or sniffing up some culture? Then Leeuwarden is very nice. Here, in addition to a pleasant day of shopping, you can also visit several museums. Tips are the Fries Museum and making a paddle boat trip through the center of Leeuwarden. This way you will learn more about the history of this old city while sailing through the beautiful canals.
