In 2007 the wooden artillery sheds of this fort renovated and refurbished .
The exterior is thereby restored to the original state ; The interior spaces have been converted into a modern and comfortable property , without prejudice to the robust and monumental character of the pilots .
The property features well-equipped kitchens , attractive spaces , clean bathrooms , wireless internet, beds and floor heating. Surrounded by the moat and earthworks fort is 2 acres of land with space to play sports or picnicking.
In the brick fortification, The Watch House, is a tearoom / bistro located .
You can cook in your accommodation themselves, but on request you can get meals , a barbecue or a special dinner also take care by us.
The fort is a unique accommodation for friends and family groups.
Also for trainings, meetings and courses can be found here .
For this, special arrangements apply. This property is located on the very edge of the city of Utrecht on the river Vecht.
With a fifteen minute ride along the Vecht and Old Canal , you are in the heart of Utrecht with the Old Town , Dom Tower , Railway , Central Museum , and Museum from Musical Clock to Street Organ .
If you follow the Fight the other hand, you go with the river meanders through the landscape towards Breukelen and the Loosdrecht lakes area (10 km) .
Bathing the Maarsseveense lake is 10 minutes by bike and there is a swimming pool within walking distance.
The outside area is ideal for walks ; for a walk in the woods within a radius of 12-20 kilometers opportunities abound in Holland rading , Lage Vuursche and De Bilt. Space into this smoke-free property , which consists of shed E (anno 1898) and three rooms in shed F (anno 1913).
Advanced Burgundian cooking and can linger well in this property ; E is shed on it decorated with a large open kitchen with six -burner stove and oven, two large refrigerators, microwaves and professional dishwasher, adjoining dining and recreation room of 98 m2 and a sunny private terrace. The dining room is also equipped with TV / DVD and comfortable sofas.
On the ground floor there are two sanitary rooms with four showers and three toilets and a disabled toilet.
On the atmospheric attic there are 18 beds. In addition, your group include 3 quadruple rooms with private bathroom with shower , in the adjacent shed F.
Each room has two beds on a mezzanine ; bunk beds downstairs .
Child seats and cots are available.
At the fort The accommodation can be added ( additional cost).
To six beds An extra room of 54 m2 in shed F can be hired and to be decorated as dining , meeting, leisure or cinema.
From April / September is a combination of pitches possible .
