Cocoonr Agency offers you this 240m2 family home with a beautiful view of the water and St Paul's church, 10 minutes' walk from the cathedral.
This large bourgeois house, steeped in history, will charm you with its spaciousness, stained glass windows and period decor.
Once past the large entrance hall, you'll find on the first floor a fully-equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, dishwasher and ceramic hob), a large dining room, a large living room with a view of St Paul's Church, and a small sitting room where you can relax and read or watch TV. 1 separate toilet on the ground floor.
You'll also have access to a small 40 m2 garden, where you can take advantage of fine weather and enjoy an aperitif in summer.
A beautiful wooden staircase leads from the entrance hall to the second floor.
Here you'll find : - Two large interconnecting master bedrooms (with a double bed and a king-size bed). ATTENTION: the door separating the two bedrooms is transparent. - A 3rd bedroom with exotic decor and queen-size bed. - A bathroom with old-fashioned washbasin and bathtub-shower that will take you back in time.
WC - 1 separate toilet Take the stairs again to reach the second floor.
Here you'll find : - A large bedroom with study. - A master bedroom with bathroom and WC. - A smaller bedroom with two single beds. - 1 separate WC Other features to consider: - You will be provided with a set of keys. - Access to the accommodation is from 5 p.m. onwards; - Keys can be collected from a key box in the building; - We cannot be reached after 9pm. A few ideas for outings in the area: - Just a stone's throw from Place de la République and Place Broglie. - Opéra du Rhin and Théâtre National de Strasbourg are a 3-minute walk away. - Don't hesitate to enjoy an aperitif on the terrace of a barge on the Quai des Pêcheurs. - Strasbourg city center and its Place Kleber can be visited on foot from the house. - Rohan Palace - Parc de l'Orangerie and the European institutions are a 10-minute streetcar ride away. - The Museum of Modern Art - Tomi Ungerer Museum, 5 minutes' walk away - Alsatian museum - Krutenau district - Petite France district - Wine route Streetcar B, C, E and F at République station, 4 minutes' walk from the house. Gallia streetcar stop 2 minutes' walk from the house. Bus 6 or 15, République or Liberté stop. Bus 10 from Gare to Pont des Vosges. Streetcar C direct from Gare to Gallia station. We had a great time and the house suited us well. It was very unique and clean, if a little dated in decor. But the bathrooms were nicely modernized.
It is a great location for walking and shopping and we were very comfortable.
There was just one communication mishap, over the availability of a baby cot, otherwise the hosts were great.
Elegant surroundings for a family stay.

Spacious and elegant house. Lovely dining area and outdoor space. Homely, too, as the owners have left personal items and original decor in place.
A bit tired in places but that added to the charm.

Prachtig ingerichte locatie met veel mogelijkheden om samen iets te doen maar ook om even alleen te zijn.
Heel erg genoten.
