Located in the quiet rural hamlet of Tredinnick is Forge Cottage, a 200 years old quirky and spacious cottage, full of character serving as an excellent base with which to explore the nearby coast and beaches.
Padstow and Wadebridge, with their excellent restaurants and shops and the beautiful sandy beaches of the seven bays are just a short drive away.
The cottage is also close to the main routes through Cornwall, meaning access to the rest of the county, such as the Eden Project, St Ives and Newquay, is quick and easy. Arriving at Forge Cottage, the white walls against the sky blue windows really highlights this historic cottage in the little village.
Being such an older property, it does have many characterful quirks, with exposed beams, large fire place with log-burner and low level small paned windows set in the substantial stone walls.
With the fire lit, the living room is a cosy den in which to rest those legs on an evening, in addition to TV to aid in the relaxation. The kitchen shares a space with the dining table and seating for 4, the kitchen fully equipped should you wish to cook up a feast.
There are many cuisines should you wish to have delivered, but while you're here you'd do well to frequent the many restaurants and cafés in and around the surrounding areas! When you're ready to rest your head, heading upstairs the master bedroom with SUPER KING Sized bed is inviting, while the other bedroom has two single beds.
In addition to the bathroom with shower, bath and w/c, and additional w/c downstairs. Outside, the gardens are enclosed for any of those wishing to bring their furry family, in addition to outdoor furniture should you wish to dine al fresco! The surrounding area gives opportunity for accessing many popular pursuits including eating out, wine tasting, cycling and surfing.
The Camel Estuary provides a range of water sports, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides and sea-life safaris.
The coastal path and Camel trail offers walkers and cyclists magnificent views of cliffs and sea, all in all, making Forge Cottage a great base from wish to do a multitude of things in your visit to Cornwall. Booking Conditions: - We welcome well behaved owners and their pets. - No smoking - There are steep steps and no fence between the upper garden/patio and the lower patio.
Care and caution should be given to the elderly, children and ensure young children are supervised at all times.

Een heerlijk rustig verblijf in dit prachtige rustieke huisje. Mooi gelegen in het prachtige landschap van Cornwall. Alles was vanuit deze locatie prima aan te rijden. Het enige minpunt is dat er nauwelijks internetverbinding is. Dus neem een goed boek mee..

We all loved the cottage and it’s location. Had some lovely days out together at the lovely bays nearby and Prideux Place in Padstow and Lanhydrock I’m Bodmin definitely recommended. A beautiful location and great place to stay.Thanks!

The description of the cottage ammenities were good. We felt that a lack of detail to the general cleanliness in the kitchen. Extractor filters were greasy and fridge not 100%. Kitchen cupboards not cleean or organised.The rest of the cottage was beautifully presented with comfy beds and living area...
