The cottage is homely, warm and welcoming. It’s not modern but that’s to be expected.
The facilities are good and everything is done to make the stay comfortable and pleasant. The views are unbeatable and the silence is above and beyond anything you may expect. Kirby Stephen, Kendal and Sedburgh are lovely market towns. Hawes creamery is well worth a visit

this is the second time I have used Sally End, It’s a lovely little cottage and the views from the cottage are amazing. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing break then you will not be disappointed. Although it is very rural you are ideally situated to explore the surrounding countryside. Windermere is only a 35min drive. I am already considering returning next year.

This is our second stay at the cotrage and we had a great week… it’s quaint .. not modern but comfortable and the added steep for the massive 4 poster helped my little legs a lot … we had an issue with the tv aerial which was rectified as soon as reported …thanks Robert and Sara for your unwavering kindness. We will return., it’s a beautiful part of the world with much to offer.
