Fernando and Agueda welcome you to a charming country house dating from 1843, fully restored and steeped in history - one of the oldest listed buildings in the area - located on a particularly well-kept enclosed property of 1500m² (electric gate and large paved courtyard), with an exceptional rental income, nestled on the banks of the Saône, along the historic towpath that is now occupied by the blue route (direct access!).
In a quiet location, in the heart of a charming residential hamlet nestled on an exposed hillside, overlooking the river as a "balcony".
Privileged location between town and countryside in the heart of an enchanting bucolic setting, literally restful and relaxing, in close proximity to all amenities. 7 km from the city center of Mâcon, the southernmost city in Burgundy, birthplace of the famous poet Lamartine (a "Classified Tourist Resort"), boasting a notable historical heritage (St.
Peter's Church, wooden house, Hôtel Dieu, Romanesque St.
Vincent Cathedral, Ursuline Convent, etc.) and charming pedestrian neighborhoods to explore.

Fernando et Agueda sont des hôtes très accueillants et de bons conseils pour les restaurants.
Aurore nous a très bien accueillis à notre arrivée et nous a fait déguster sa délicieuse paella.

Séjour au calme au bord de l'eau dans un beau logement confortable.

L'emplacement en bord de Saône avec vue imprenable sur les levers et couchers de soleil, le calme, le logement spacieux et confortable.

Ruim en schoon huis op een geweldige locatie. Zeldzaam mooi uitzicht. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren die naast het huisje wonen. Lunchen op het terrasje met uitzicht op de Saône was een hoogtepunt. We komen hier graag nog eens terug.
De WiFi was aan de zwakke kant. De vloeren binnen, en het trapje buiten zijn nogal scheef. Dit zijn overigens maar kleine minpuntjes, die zeker niet opwegen tegen alle voordelen van deze toplocatie.
