Jean-Marc & Béatrice welcome you in an authentic Bresse house of character from 1850 - rich in an elegant traditional architecture in bricks & timber frames - carefully restored and steeped in history (at the same time old village forge and farmhouse).
In the hollow of a residential hamlet nestled on the edge of fields, forests & meadows, bordering the center of the charming, typical little village & merchant of Branges (river village crossed by the greenway with a charming marina with lock located in the middle of nature in a preserved green setting) nestled on the banks of the Seille (the most important river in Bresse, close to the gîte), a remarkable ecosystem largely classified as a Natura 2000 Zone (migratory bird reserve, rare plant species , many fish including the famous catfish, animals and wildlife ...), navigable over 39 km between Louhans and La Truchère in the hollow of magnificent landscapes, offering many leisure activities (hiking, pleasure cruising, canoeing, fishing ....) .

Cette ancienne forge a un charme fou. Cette grande pièce principale nous fait voyager et elle est également propice à la convivialité autour de cette grande table en bois massif. Pour les amoureu de la Bresse et de ses moments festifs et chaleureu. L'accueil est vraiment super charmant et convivial.

Le gîte est situé près des commerçants de proimité à quelques centaines de mètres, près de la ville de Louhans.La voie verte est à côté, très agréable pour les cyclistes et les marcheurs.Un bémol néanmoins, le gîte est situé au bord d'une route très passante

Tout était parfait, de l'accueil sympathique de la propriétaire avec un gâteau fait maison (très bon en plus) jusqu'à la qualité du gite. L'équipement est complet. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour avec une belle météo pour agrémenter le tout.Au plaisir de revenir
