The former hunting lodge enjoys a wonderful location on the peninsula at Lake Björkan. Thelake and the forest are right nearby.

You have to walk 300 metres from the parking area and then take a rowing boat 500 metres to the hut.

This wooden hut is on a 20,000m² forested site. It has a bedroom with a bunk bed with mattresses measuring 80 x 200cm, as well as a sofa. The living and dining room with a kitchen unit has a fireplace and a dining table with chairs. You can cook on a gas stove. A wood-burning stove provides heating. The hut does not have electricity, nor running water. You can get drinking water from Säters Camping and use water from the lake 30 metres away for washing up. There is no proper bathroom. You can bathe in the lake or at Säters Camping. There is a dry toilet in a small, separate building 10 metres away.

You can discover elk and other wild animals, and enjoy the fresh air of the surrounding forests. The nearest locality is 25km away, where you can find all essential everyday amenities, as well as shops and restaurants.
